The only ingredients we need to buy are the lamb, oil, barley, salt & pepper and the worcestershire sauce (though this can be home made too!).

- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 onions, chopped
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 4 carrots, peeled and sliced
- 3 potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 cup of pearl barley, rinsed
- 4 cups of beef or vegetable broth
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 Tb Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon of thyme
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions:
