I just love little babies in hand knits! I really can’t get enough of them. So when I wanted a gift for a baby girl I knew I just had to knit something. I found many patterns for jumpers and some TRULY ADORABLE nappy covers, but by far the cutest pattern I found was this super adorable and easy baby romper knitting pattern.

I really love how this little romper turned out! And the best part – it didn’t take long to knit, so it’s great for a last minute gift.
Where do I find it?
The pattern is this Lacey Romper by Pippy Eve that I found on Ravelry. I used this Luxury 8 Ply Merino yarn by Bendigo Wollen Mills, which I have used many times because I love it so much. And of course – we all love to support smaller mills where we can don’t we?
I was lucky enough to find a bag of about 50 of the aqua buttons in my local thrift shop for $1.50, and I couldn’t believe how well the colour matched! Now I just need to find a new project that needs 47 aqua buttons….
Great for any level
If you are looking for an easy baby romper knitting pattern, I highly recommend this one. I didn’t have any issues at all with the pattern, it’s super easy to follow. Actually, I didn’t make any adjustments at all. If you are a beginner knitter, you can just follow the pattern exactly and you will end up with a gorgeous little romper that looks like you’re a knitting pro!
Just be careful though – you might find yourself being asked to knit for all your friends and family!
